Aventura Hotel at Universal Studios, Orlando

We have not stayed here but from the reviews we found online this place is one of the best Florida Resort hotels. This posh and very modern themed resort hotel, offers all the best amenities, including clean and comfortable rooms, an on-site restaurant, a pool bar and lounge, state-of-the-art fitness center and free on property transport to the Universal theme parks. Staying here also gets you early access to Harry Potter’s world with an extra hour in the morning with your purchased valid ticket.
Plus, it’s just minutes from all the top attractions in Orlando – perfect for business or leisure travelers alike.
When arriving you will be met with a very welcoming, clean lobby and from the reviews we have read, a phenomenal, friendly, helpful staff. Reviewers also highly rate the check in procedures and front desk staff.
This hotel has a excellent pool are with a splash pad, hot tub and full bar area. You can get food delivered to your lounge chair also. The hotel offer free pool towels to guests so you don’t have to use your room ones.
The 17th floor offer a bistro/bar area, with views of the Orlando skyline and Universal theme parks. This is one of the highlights of the resort. Reviewers rave about the burgers from the bistro and give it high rankings in food, drinks, service quality, and value.
You can burn off the calories at the state of fitness center. All ‘room’ floors have a laundry area with all the things you need to do a quick load, and snack vending machines too.
Reviewers state that check in is very good. “Fast and informative” was a theme in the online reviews we found. You can also pick up your tickets for the theme parks from the front lobby vacations desk.
There is also a Universal Store for any souvenirs and items you may need. An ATM and a car rental kiosk is also in the front lobby area. One great thing about the Universal Studio’s hotels is most all have a place for you to print your boarding pass for your flight home if you need that service.

Kids Suite – This upper floor suite offers amazing views with huge floor to ceiling windows, a separate children’s sleeping area with two full beds, and a queen bed for the adults. The suite includes a sofa bed with a memory foam mattress, coffee maker, fridge and sitting area.
King Room -This well appointed room has the featured floor to ceiling windows for some great views of the Orlando skyline. It also offers a 43-inch flat-screen TV, small refrigerator, coffee maker, fridge and a seating area.
Queen Room – This is the most affordable room offering here. With the aforementioned floor to ceiling windows for some great views, fridge, coffee maker and desk area; this is a great value for budget mined vacationers.
Food and Beverages
The lobby has a Starbucks, a fully stocked bar; The Bar Aventura and a restaurant area called the Urban Pantry is a nice place for a variety of food options from pizza to sushi. It also offers grab and go items, alcohol and soda to take to your room as well.
The kids will love the gelato bar where you can cool down with a great selection of flavors and toppings.
The pool side bar “SoL Bar” is an excellent place to kick back and have a drink, and watch the kids swim. The “Bar 17 bistro” on the 17th floor is a great place to sit and eat some lunch or dinner, looking at the wonderful views from the high up deck. This place gets a 4.8 of 5 stars for food and drink quality, excellent wait staff and value of the items offered. Bottled domestic beer is $6.00 and a burger is about $10.00.
From the reviews we have found the staff here get very high rankings for friendliness, attentiveness, professionalism and expertise. From going out of their way to make guests happy, to helping you have a great time the staff here is amazing. The staff is one of the best things about this resort.
The location gets very high rankings as well due to it being walking distance from both Universal theme parks, the water park and offering free shuttles to City Walk. This is also located in the heart of Orlando, close to Icon Park, the convention center, Wonderworks and all of the best tourist destinations in Orlando.
